How to Overcome Alcoholism

Overcoming AlcoholismAlcoholism is an involuntary, primary disease that can be diagnosed and treated.

The treatment of alcoholism is not curable, however the disease may be arrested. The treatment of alcoholism includes physical, psychological, social, and spiritual dimensions.

Alcoholics and addicts are very vulnerable to the abuse of mood altering drugs. This behavior is trading one drug for another or in some cases mixing drugs.

The National Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependence as started in 1944 in New York City by people concerned about the lack of information and education about alcoholism. Recognizes that…..it is a highly treatable disease and the alcoholic is worth treating.

SO HERE IT IS

To have a lasting change, we need to have a transformation. THAT IS a WHOLE change which includes body, mind, and spirit.

NOW WE KNOW

It affects our BODY physically. It affects our MIND mentally. It affects our SPIRIT,
what we think and feel about ourselves.

WHAT DO WE DO

Stop drinking. Stop using.

It is important to not just stopping using RX or alcohol and it might require medical help. If you feel you are at risk call 911, call your medical doctor, or go to the nearest Emergency Room.

Once you STOP you must START with an Action Program.

JUST STOPPING IS NOT ENOUGH

It’s time to get busy and take on the issues pertaining to the mind, will and other emotions. It is not time to sweep our problems under the rug.

The greatest effectiveness in the recovery process and therapy tool is the reality of the spiritual realm.

Overcoming your Fears and Finding your Purpose in Life

Finding your PurposeIs fear and frustration holding you back?

Do you want your ideal or perfect outcome?

Who is your Coach?

Who is helping you on that path?

Anyone who invests in coaching experiences a dramatic life transformation.

We see the work differently. Life becomes exciting. We have a lot more energy and enthusiasm.

We gain a multitude of personal insights and learn to make powerful decisions about our future.
Opportunities show up for us. Life unfolds as our design.

It’s mind blowing.

Some people never invest in coaching because the price is terrifying.

We explore: core principles.

Coaching is about locating purpose in our work and our everyday lives. It’s about finding a voice.
Negative thoughts are affecting our well-being and zapping our energy.

It takes a habit to replace a habit.

We clean out guilt, regret, anger, worry, unrealistic expectation, fear and whatever else you might find crammed into the corners of your mind that is holding you back from living a life you love.

We clear the way to productive thoughts and planning.

It is about locating purpose in our work and our everyday lives. It’s about finding a voice. We are not our thoughts.

Getting Back in to Balance

Back into BalanceThinking is the root of all problems. Thinking is the solution to all problems.

Conflict is a gift.

We are not our thoughts. We are not our emotions.

“You cannot think yourself out of a problem that you behaved yourself into.”
-Crystal Singh

It is a mindset…WE CAN LEARN IT.

I teach skill sets around not running away or blocking it. I teach blending with it.

Get back in to balance.

“You can’t talk yourself out of a problem that you behaved yourself into.”
-Stephen Covey

It is so silly to spend so much time trying to be so right about so little.

It’s time to be centered. Breathe in the mystery and let go of being right.

We are what we decide to be. Are we willing to take on our own?

When we are the universe opens up.

Whether you are suffering from alcoholism or drug addiction, there is hope. There is help.
